Hugh
Hugh is a character in the Pokemon franchise that first appeared in Pokemon Black Version2 and White Version 2. He has a role in Pokemon Thunder Version and Rain Version as the first Gym Leader.
Hugh is one of the few trainers that can remeber the events of Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 so much, that he decided to leave Unova and go to Avatra to start over his career as the first Gym Leader.
History[]
Thinking Of The Past[]
Hugh had though for for many monthes after the events of Pokemon Black Version 2 and White Version 2 he should help other Pokemon trainers think about their paths and where they should go. He then left Unova and went to Avatra to help trainers in case if Team Plasma returns one day.
Finding A New Friend[]
As soon as the main trainer goes to the first Gym and finds Hugh, he will face you. Depending on the Pokemon your first chosed depends on the Pokemon team he will have, as he is a mix-type Pokemon Gym Leader. After defeating him, he will rewarded you with the gym badge.
After finding the Plasma Frigate abadonded, Hugh will run at you and give you a hint that he was once on the ship in the past (thus Pokemon Thunder Version and Rain Version take place after Pokemon Black Version 2 and White Version 2). He will then help you fight Element Plasma after suddenly appearing to take the ship. Once Element Plasma is defeated, they retreated and leave the ship, badly damaged in a failed attempt to bring it to their base.
After facing the eight Gym Leader and how Element Plasma destroyed the Gym via using Avaisol (Thunder version) or Unitoak (Rain version), Hugh comes and, shocked at what happened, decides to help the main trainer stop Element Plasma from any more devastation.
Hugh comes to help the main trainer along with N to help stop the Element Plasma leader. He is there giving support and keep the main character's Pokemon healthly if Colress defeats the trainer.
Trivia[]
- Hugh is the only Gym Leader in Avatra that has never specifically used a certain type of Pokemon, because he uses the stronger type to defeat the main trainer.
- This is similar to how Cilan, Chili, and Chress were the first Gym Leaders that used Pokemon that were strong aganist the main trainer's starter Pokemon.
